Sorry to hear about your diagnosis. I saw your Rare Disease post and got excited! I also suffer from a Rare Disease (XLH) X-Linked Hypophosphatemic Rickets which I was born with. Hope you are receiving great treatment and they can help you with your diagnosis.

Thank you for your kind comments, Faith. MDS is caused by genomic abnormalities and is a progressive disease. A successful stem cell transplant is the only cure. I am being treated by a local hematologist/oncologist and a MDS specialist at UT Southwestern. I was reading about XLH. I admit I thought rickets was strictly diet related and learned it also is a genomic issue. I trust you will continue to do well with treatment.
