    15. When Bobbie Sang the Blues  - Peggy Darty (10/3/11)

    17. Aunt Dimity Down Under - Nancy Atherton (9/27/11)
    18. Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death and Agatha Raisin and the Vicious Vet - M.C. Beaton -  I downloaded this BBC radio production starring longtime British Comedy star, Penelope Keith. For a 90-minute introduction to the Agatha Raisin series, they were okay and Keith's interpretation of the main character seemed to be spot on with a short description I'd already read. Now I need to read one of this series to decide whether I like it or not. Hard to tell at this point. (9/22/11)

    36. Aunt Dimity's Death - Nancy Atherton - Named one of the best 100 mysteries of the 20th century. Very gentle tale of a young woman who had fallen on hard times after her mother's death only to learn her mother's stories about aunt Dimity were about a real person, her mother's great friend, and that fairy tales can and do come true. A quick and gentle read. (8/8/11)
    37. The Angel and the Jabberwocky Murders - Mignon F. Ballard (8/6/11).
    38. Hark the Herald Angel Screamed - Mignon F. Ballard  (July, 2011)
    39. Angel at Troublesome Creek - Mignon F. Ballard - the first Augusta Goodnight mystery in the series (July, 2011) I took this with me to the hospital to read to Mother in late June - I never had that opportunity. Mom passed away June 27th.
    40. An Angle to Die For - Mignon F. Ballard - an Augusta Goodnight mystery. Augusta is a guardian angel on temporary assignment from her duties in the strawberry fields of Heaven. While she's in earthly residence she cooks, she sews, she cleans, she makes sage observations and occasional steps in to assist - in an unobtrusive manner, of course - all with amazing speed and perfection. Wish she'd visit ME!  (June, 2011)
    41. Miss Dimples Disappears -  Mignon F. Ballard (June, 2011)
    42. Lost Symbol - Dan Brown - Turned it back in after reading 30 or so pages. Come to think of it, I've never been able to get into a Dan Brown book, but after 3 or 4 tries managed to skim most of The Da Vinci Code anyway. What was the hype all about??
    43. The Landower Legacy - Victoria Holt
    44. Mistress of Mellyn - Victoria Holt
    45. Beneath the Sands of Egypt - Donald P. Ryan, Ph.D. - a fascinating autobiography by archaeologist Ryan who spent years in the Valley of the Kings as well as with his childhood idol, Thor Heyerdahl. Many short biographies of historic Egyptologists and insider stories as well.  An easy, good read, excellent for anyone even nominally interested in archeology or Egyptology
    46. The Unexpected Mrs. Pollifax - Dorothy Gilman - a woman of a certain older age who volunteers to work as a spy for the CIA - made first into a 1971 movie by and starring Rosalind Russell called "Mrs. Pollifax - Spy" and later remade as a 1999 movie-of-the-week starring Angela Lansbury

    59. Mrs. Malory and the Fatal Legacy - Hazel Holt
